This would be only a week before John died. It's very sad for me to watch, since I love John too. I wish they were on camera together here. John talked about Jerry throughout his career of course, and there is that one photo of them together after one of the Damn Yankees shows on Broadway. I wish they had been able to work together like they had both wanted. To me John is one of the closest people to imitate Jerry's comic persona in various tv shows and films, and do it so well. His character of Jack Tripper on Three's Company, is basically a 70's/80's JL sitcom character. He also worked with Bill Richmond on Three's Company, which probably helped that too.
