With German interviewer Margret Dünser, and subtitles through sections in German or dubbing, this behind the scenes segment shows some never before seen footage from the set of The Day the Clown Cried, in 1972. The interviewer included some misinformation, like Jerry's character Helmut being Jewish. His character was a German clown, and was a political prisoner in the concentration camp. His character was also not Gustav the Great, as mentioned by the interviewer, that was another character played by Pierre Etaix. Thanks to denise for doing the entire translation. I did go and change the rest when Jerry speaks only and use Denise's translation as a guideline to confirm what Jerry was saying, since I just listened to Jerry's voice behind the dubbing at a loud volume. It always bothers when the language translation doesn't translate to what the person is exactly saying, because of language differences of course. I know aajjgg wanted word for word before after seeing the Der Clown translation I gave him. So I tried to do that.
