Peter Bogdanovich, the director and film journalist and historian, who knew Jerry well since 1961, died on Jan. 6 at the age of 82. He was one of the few film critics whom Jerry liked, respected and called friend. Last year, he wrote the foreword to the Italian translation of Jerry's autobiography, titled Jerry in persona. As a memoriam to Mr. Bogdanovich, and of course always to Jerry, I translated that Italian text since it was not in the original English language book. Here it is, enjoy!
