It was about 2 weeks later that they announced that they would be breaking up in July. The day of the Today Show appearance at the 500 Club, was the day after they announced the breakup. Obviously their rift showed on that show.
I also just found out the other day that Jerry had an episode of This is Your Life. I only hope one day it can be found. I just saw a photo from it. A photobook of the show, is one of the things up for auction from Jerry's estate.
