thank you!! i’ve only seen clips. nice to see more of it. there’s so much fascinating about it...it really speaks to the popularity and box office power of M&L that even the big shots wanted to be involved...and that into ‘53 JL and dean were still so close that dean would spend so much time on these projects...and to see jeanne there too! cool

Just to add a bit of trivia: at 1:13 Jerry notices that Mr. and Mrs. Abe Lax are coming up his walk. Mrs. Lax was Frances Weintraub Lax, who plays a role in Come Back, Little Shiksa, see her at 12:35. I always liked this lady. She was a frequent cast member on the CCH's - whenever a sketch called for someone to play the mother of Jerry's character, she played that role (except for the Ma the Bank Robber bit). I think some viewers thought she really was Jerry's mom, but that of course was Rae Lewis, who never appeared onstage on a CCH, just in the audience. Frances Lax also had small roles in Jerry's later films, most notably as one of the airline passengers in The Family Jewels. They must have had a special place in their hearts for each other.
