I'm creating this thread for entertainment, since there are some truly absurd comments from people on JL's life and career. Most of the ones you will see are ones from the comments of my Youtube videos. I did also see a woman who is supposedly a huge fan on fb, ask if JL had passed away today, and was telling people that she had been talking to him for the last few years and that people telling her that he passed in 2017, were wrong.... Alas another person watching an entertainer they don't like. Why do they enjoy punishing themselves? Also he hated everyone on the planet apparently including his wife and daughter Danielle. Funny because I recall either him or Patti saying that he was in love with humanity.  |

Comments about Jerry being a narcissist are among the most common ones I see on YouTube. You don't have to like Jerry Lewis, but it's incredible how many many there are who watch his every video of his just to say things like this without even knowing. Sure, Jerry was very complicated and even the ones closest to him admitted that. He was a workaholic and perfectionist and sometimes didn't respond to critisism very well, even fans knows that. This is probably because of the neglect he experienced from his father and the fact that he never got his confidence or approval, and I think that is one of things he desired the most.
If people are going to pinpoint every celebrity who was difficult, they're going to need a long list to go through.

someone's bitter about women....  This just in, Jerry Lewis is JFK, and (who is somehow now his wife) Shari Lewis the puppeteer is Kathie Lee Gifford and Joan Rivers. What insightful comments I receive on my Youtube videos sometimes. lol Sadly some people out there believe that certain celebrities shapeshift into other celebrities. I wonder how they explain Jerry and JFK in photos together.  |
